You'll be joining us to cover a period of maternity leave on a part-time (20HR P/W) Contract. Take advantage of our hybrid work schedule, and collaborate onsite with colleagues in our brand new Boston office 1-3 Days PW.

Your Mission

As a Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will be an integral part of the People Management team and provide guidance and support to employees across the full spectrum of the Human Resources function. You are responsible for the day-to-day Human Resources operations and administration for our U.S. team, with a focus on payroll processing and benefits coordination.

The value you bring

  • In charge of bi-weekly payroll administration and coordination for employees, in compliance with our external and internal payroll controls.
  • Organize the payment of overtime, holidays, bonuses, commissions, merit, promotion, and leaves of absence
  • Resolve federal or state related tax issues in partnership with Paylocity
  • Be the contact person for employees and address issues and questions regarding payroll and benefits
  • Manage U.S. benefits platforms (401k, health benefits, etc.)
  • Performing employee administration during employment (maintaining employee personal records, answering employee requests)
  • Performing all employee onboarding and offboarding administration for payroll and benefits

Requirements

We know that every background is different, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:

  • More than 3 years of experience as an HR admin and/or payroll specialist with a preference to experience working in an international company
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll process. Experience using Paylocity (Extremely advantageous) or similar payroll system (critical)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits and local labor laws and regulations
  • Advanced degree in HR or related field
  • As part of an international people function, you will be capable of working autonomously
  • You will be articulate in your communication, and comfortable engaging with senior leadership
