Last week, SOPHiA GENETICS headed to Cambridge for the Harvard Technology, Science, and Data Fair, joining nearly 500 students and recent alumni for a day of conversations about careers at the intersection of data, AI, and healthcare. We met students not only from Harvard, but also from MIT and Brown.
Representing us was Sarah Gill, our Corporate Strategy Manager and a Harvard alumna, who shared her own path from campus to SOPHiA GENETICS.
The best surprise of the day was connecting with Thais Roussel, who spent the summer of 2025 as a Data Science Intern with our Multimodal R&D team in Pessac, France, and is now pursuing her Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering at Harvard.
Moments like this remind us why we believe in opening doors early. They create connections that last well beyond an internship, and they often come full circle in ways we couldn't have planned. Boston is an important home for us, and we're committed to becoming a real part of its academic community, just as we have with our university partners across Europe.
Thankful to the Harvard team for hosting us, and to all the students who came by with such thoughtful questions.
