At SOPHiA GENETICS, we believe leadership is key to success. It is about how you inspire, support, and empower others, no matter where you are in your career. Everyoneneeds fresh ideas, new skills, and a support along the way. That’s why leadership development is an ongoing journey for which we’ve created programs to help our people grow as leaders at every stage of their journey.
Two of our key initiatives are the Women’s Leadership Club and the Emerging Leader Program— each with its own focus, and both built on the same foundation: connection, learning, and real-life application.
The Women's Leadership Club
Think of it as a space to connect, share, and grow. Senior leaders from across the company come together to talk about real challenges, share ideas, and lift each other up for a more diverse leadership
Each month, a group member prepares a theme that is then discussed collectively. In 2025, the group spoke about:
- The importance of new leadership competencies and connecting with people
- Saying “yes” and “no” effectively
- Being both a mother and a leader
- Women leaders across the globe
- Building confidence and resilience in leadership

Emering Leader Training
Throughout 2024 and 2025, we designed our own Leadership Program. We looked at what it takes for us to be future-focused and we knew enabling our leaders would be the key. Designed for those stepping into leadership roles or looking to grow into them, this program focuses on the skills needed to lead effectively.

The program is made of:
A 1,5-day interactive, hands-on training session
The creation of a personal action plan to guide your development
1:1 coaching with Slawomir as you apply your new skills
Reinforcement through e-learning modules and peer-to-peer sessions
Optional: Access to additional resources such as mentorship and recommended reading
Participants explore and practice tools focusing on giving and receiving feedback, coaching, building influence, creating trust and leading with authenticity. It’s practical, interactive, and built to apply directly to everyday work.
