In this new episode of Our Talents, Our DNA, we meet Loïc, based in our Bordeaux office, where he leads the Multimodal Biostatistics team within our R&D activities.

Loïc joined SOPHiA GENETICS as a biostatistician before growing into a leadership role and building his own team along the way. Coming from academic research, he was looking for a place where innovation could move beyond theory and have a real impact for clinicians and patients. 
What he found at SOPHiA was exactly that - an environment where science, data, medicine, and technology come together to develop solutions that can truly be used in clinical practice.

In the interview Loïc also shares what he learned as a manager – the importance of trusting people, giving ownership, and learning from experts around you. Curiosity, adaptability and collaboration become essential in the fast-moving and innovative field.
