Complete an internship at SOPHiA GENETICS, a company on a mission to build the future of AI-assisted medicine. You'll be joining the Product Marketing, Medical & PMO department as a Platform Strategy & Innovation Intern.

This position is exclusively open to students currently enrolled in the BNF program.

Your mission:
Working closely with the Platform Strategy & Innovation Director, you'll help drive platform release operations and customer migration programs - work that feeds directly into how we deliver our product roadmap.

You'll be at the heart of how we bring new platform features to our customers and support their move to the next generation of our platform. Expect real exposure to product strategy, release management, and working across teams in a fast-moving environment.

You will be involved in: 

  • Shadowing and supporting the Platform Marketing, Strategy & Innovation team to learn how product strategy, project management, and platform releases work in a fast-paced tech environment 
  • Supporting release operations and content delivery: helping coordinate release cycles and info sessions, consolidating release notes, and following up with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of inputs, presentations, and communications for release announcements) 
  • Supporting customer migration operations: tracking progress across accounts, following up with internal migration owners to ensure timelines are met, and coordinating customer communications on migration timelines and newly available products 
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate operational processes: analysing recurring workflows and proposing improvements to increase efficiency across release and migration operations 

 

Requirements

The experience you bring: 

  • PhD in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or an equivalent field and having interest in Project Management  
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Interest in experimenting with AI tools to improve productivity and automate workflows 
  • Fluent in English; French or German is a plus 
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and proactive communication skills
