This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in office at our Boston, MA location.

Your mission:

Reporting into the Director, Global Field Marketing, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by prospecting, qualifying, and generating opportunities to support the overall growth of the business.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Generate new sales opportunities through inbound management and outbound outreach (calls, email, use of Salesforce CRM and other enablement software)
  • Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services 
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market 
  • Be the front-line for SOPHiA GENETICS in reporting market feedback to teams across the organization
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospects and sales executives 
  • Manage renewals and up-sell opportunities with certain key products
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results 
  • Developing sales outreach strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers. 
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales. 
  • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs. 
  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services. 
  • Collaborating with sales executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are met. 

Requirements

The experience you bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Exposure to different sales tools, such as: Salesforce, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Groove, Outreach, DemandBase, ZoomInfo
  • BA/BS degree preferred

Starting Date: ASAP

Location: Boston, MA - Hybrid 3x/week in office

Contract: Permanent

MA Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,750
