Do you bring a proven track record as a commercially focused product leader? Do you have experience driving platform and software products that support clinical workflows in oncology and rare diseases?

If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, join the SOPHiA GENETICS Product Management Team as the Product Marketing Director for our SOPHiA DDMTM Platform, including all modules and add-on modules, and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes of cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.

Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule allowing 2 days PW home working, collaborating closely with colleagues in either our Bidart (FR) or Rolle (CH) corporate office. This role will feature an element of international travel.

 Our mission

We believe there is a smarter, more data-driven way to make decisions in healthcare and our cloud-native AI powered SOPHiA DDM Platform makes that vision a reality on a daily basis. You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.

Your mission

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Product Marketing, you will own the strategic direction and commercial success of all aspects of the SOPHiA DDMTM platform, across somatic oncology and germline workflows, in the genomics, radiomics and multimodal space. You will work closely with broad cross functional teams to shape the roadmap, define go-to-market plans, and ensure our platform delivers compelling value for customers worldwide.

The value you bring

  • Lead the product lifecycle for the SOPHiA DDMTM Platform from discovery, launch through scaleup and optimization of existing and new products and solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by running market and customer research and translating insights into clear development priorities.
  • Develop and execute commercially focused product strategies, including pricing and product offering, that align with company goals and evolving market needs.
  • Define and drive product positioning, messaging, and differentiated value propositions, enabling effective demos, use cases, and sales conversations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, clinical, and R&D teams to deliver impactful launches, sales enablement materials, and ongoing gotomarket activities that accelerate product adoption and revenue growth.

Requirements

We know that every background is different, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:

  • 8–10+ years within product management, with a strong track record in software and/or digital products in clinical, oncology or broader healthcare settings.
  • Proven success owning and driving a product (or product line) across multiple stages of the commercial lifecycle, from market discovery through launch, growth and optimisation, with a portfolio ideally covering clinical workflows (e.g., somatic diagnostics, germline workflows, digital health, or similar); oncology knowledge is a strong plus
  • Strong experience in market and customer research and translating insights into clear product roadmaps and go to market plans with key commercialised drivers, with strength in commercial product management: pricing and packaging, business case development, sales enablement, and launch / postlaunch optimisation
  • Ability to work autonomously at Director level: taking ownership, setting direction, and driving crossfunctional alignment without close daytoday supervision
  • BSc, MSc, MBA or equivalent in a relevant scientific, clinical, technical or business field

As a public organisation facing ongoing commercial growth, you will bring a success-orientated and solutions-focused mindset that embraces team collaborations, change, growth and inclusion.

As an international organisation, English is our primary business language and as part of your recruitment journey, you should expect to meet English-only speakers. For best chances of success, you should include your CV in English. Unfortunately, non-English CVs have a high likelihood of being rejected at application stage.
