You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.

Your Mission

Reporting to the finance leadership team, the Sr Mgr, Accounting will provide critical support through a key reporting and audit period, helping guide the business through Q4 close, year-end reporting, and the external audit process. This role will act as a hands-on coordinator and reviewer across accounting activities, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and serving as a day-to-day contact for external auditors. The position will be instrumental in keeping deliverables moving, supporting reviews, and helping the team navigate an evolving SOX environment during a particularly important reporting cycle.

The value you bring

  • Lead and coordinate key accounting activities across the Q4 close, year-end reporting, and audit cycle to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Act as a primary day-to-day liaison with external auditors, helping manage requests, track open items, and facilitate timely responses.
  • Support the team in preparing for and progressing through year-end audit requirements in a structured and efficient way.
  • Provide practical oversight and issue resolution during a high-demand period, ensuring priorities remain clear and execution remains steady.
  • Contribute to activities connected to the company's SOX compliance environment, particularly as external audit testing progresses.
  • Partner with colleagues supporting consolidation, reporting, and financial statement preparation to maintain alignment across deliverables.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of relevant progressive experience in accounting, external audit, financial reporting, or close management, ideally in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in a listed or public-company environment, or prior audit experience supporting listed companies, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of year-end close, external audit processes, and the rigor required in a regulated reporting environment.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP; deep specialization in one with the ability to operate effectively in a global reporting context.
  • Previous experience working directly with external auditors and coordinating audit deliverables.
  • Exposure to SOX compliance or controls testing is advantageous, particularly in connection with external audit requirements.
  • Ability to step into an established team, provide review support, and keep multiple workstreams progressing during a time-sensitive period.
  • This will be a 6 month contract from October/November, to support a period of leave during our Q4 and Year-end close.
